All Natural Hand-made Soap

My children are very sensitive to chemicals and fragrances.  When your child has sensory issues, you might have to be particularly careful to avoid these things in your bath routine.  With the “all-natural-organic” movement, there are great options out there, however, for me and my family…I like to make my own soap.  There is something so great about creating your own bar of soap.  It’s a very satisfying experience when you get to create anything yourself.  From here, it’s a hop-skip-and-a-jump to other products you can make yourself like: laundry soap, shampoo, dish soap, hand soap and well…the list goes on!  The best part is, these things are cheap to make and better for your health.  Win-win!  My all-time favorite bar of soap to make for my children is All-Natural Peace and Calming Soap.  No fragrance, just some great high-quality essential oils that my baby girl finds particularly soothing.

I can promise you this – it’s worth the effort.  Once you start making soap, you won’t look back!  It’s a lot of fun and very rewarding.
